The Start of the Holidays
We had a full house this Thanksgiving weekend. My stepson was visiting, and we also had the pleasure of taking home the class guinea pig and hamster. As if I don’t have enough to take care of. Luckily my cat Josie was not too inquisitive or bothered by this. She is much more territorial each time I bring a baby home from the hospital. I had considered getting the kids hamsters when we move. This is definitely not happening. I am exhausted from taking care of everyone and every pet! I can tell the stress is getting to me by the way my belly tightens up. I need to take some deep breaths and relax a bit more. Glad that the kids and the pets will be back in school tomorrow. Hopefully the apartment will return to normal and I can get some more rest. It is coming up to the holiday season and now the whole process of what to get the kids for presents has started. So far my husband and I have come up with very few ideas. Either we make room for the new baby or fill up the apartment with more toys that our kids don’t need. Marlee and Bradley are getting excited about the baby’s kicks and are shocked at how big my belly has gotten. They fight over who gets to feel the baby kick and wind up squishing my belly. Bradley wants to know if my behind is going to get as big as my belly. Hmmm…I am a little worried about that. Hopefully not! I certainly have my gym work cut out for me after I give birth.
