Since I’ve last blogged, many things have happened. I have a new teaching position in a district that offers more of a work/life balance. Now when I make it home, 90 minutes earlier than before, I can stop, breathe, and spoil my little ladybug. I can even go grocery shopping before I pick up my baby girl! We’re so happy to have more time together! I am finally one step away from going back to graduate school; the only thing standing in my way is setting an appointment for advising. My husband and I are about to acquire additional land to expand our home. Things are coasting along pretty well. God is good!
Taylor has also been developing very well. Ladybug is now six months old; she is teething, rolling, grabbing, talking, pulling, laughing, staring, and teething. She has two teeth poking out the bottom set of her gums. She pulls everything into her mouth for comfort: toys, cloth, books, hands, and her even her toes! However, her soother of choice is her frozen, water-filled, chew toys. Her disposition has slightly changed because of the discomfort. From time to time she fusses and seems frustrated that she can’t find any relief. We are trying to steer clear of medicating her frequently for pain, and have seldom given her a half dose of Tylenol.
My new life is awesome! What a difference six months make!
